2020 has redefined the world. As a society we are moving towards remote  workspaces, online classrooms, virtual engagement and even digital governance. 

C.M. Faiz believes that this new normal has created the space for technological  innovations that will impact the everyday lives of millions. 

THE CHALLENGE  

Challenge Statement: What problem has the pandemic brought to life that an  engineering idea can solve? 

Participate in the challenge by creating a video pitch and applying today! Your video  application must include  

1. The problem you have noticed  

2. An innovative idea that addresses the problem  

3. The execution plan.  

Your pitch will be judged by a panel of experienced techpreneurs who will provide feedback on the pitch.  

PRIZES  

The winning proposal will receive a research grant of up to Rs 50,000  The participants will also receive a chance to build mentor-mentee relationships with  the panel members. 

The participants will be referred to internship opportunities.

ELIGIBILITY  

1. Must be registered at cmfaiz.org/innovationchallenge  

2. Competitors must be engineering students or recent graduates

3. Must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in any  engineering program of study at their school. (OR)  

4. Any individual that has completed an engineering degree in the past 5  years. 

HKBK Group of Institutions is creating and sponsoring a Technology Competition for  students and young that will allow them to showcase their original ideas. The  challenge will promote problem-solving thinking to better services and products  through technology.

1. Can teams participate in this competition?  

1. This is an “individual” or a “team” competition.  

2. A can comprise of a maximum of 3 participants  

2. What must the pitch format?  

1. Competitors must announce their  

Name, Grade, Engineering Major and College / University at the beginning. i.  Example: “Hello. My name is Sally Smith. I am a senior mechanical engineering major  at X University” 

2. Competitors must present in English 

3. Pitch may not exceed 4 minutes 

4. PowerPoint Presentation, Props and notes are permitted
